Baytech positions Poggled for future growth.

Back in 2009, Joe Matthews came to Baytech with the goal of creating a social networking website that provided customers with easy access to connect with clubs, bars, and other venues for event information and specials. After months of work by executing Baytech’s meticulous technical strategy, Poggled.com was born. Baytech developed this new website from scratch. The new website implemented a sophisticated web applications and also integrated Facebook news feed updates to create a valuable social network aspect for its users.

This collaboration allowed Poggled to receive series-A funding and by June 2010, Poggled released an updated beta site. This growth enabled Poggled to secure $5.6 million of Series B funding from the same Venture Capitalist firm that funded Groupon. Poggled became Chicago’s largest nightlife website offering exclusive discounted drink deals and party packages and thanks to its fund raising capabilities, sought to expand into other markets. Poggled, now known as Tagkast is a clear example of Baytech working with an entrepreneur to put his ideas and dreams into reality.
