Objective:
Ooba aimed to promote Ooba Beverage to young, hip, and health conscious consumers. They wanted a Flash generated splash page that was "sticky" in the sense that it kept people on the site and brought people back to learn more.
Background:
Ooba, a startup, sought to inspire the health conscious community with their strong passion for healthy lifestyles with a tasty new organic drink.
Strategy:
Baytech created an enveloping storyline for Ooba, with clear and gripping verbiage and the special effects. In addition, we had to keep in mind the essential brand message which focused on a specific segment of the overall consumer market.
Solution:
To optimize for faster loading time, Baytech ensured that only clean Flash code would be used through a rigorous load testing process. Special effects like "the water drop" and the three dimensional feel was created using the latest Flash technology at the time.
Results:
Ooba was very proud to have sold their product to a venture capital group using the splash page as an opening overture to their presentation. Ooba will now be sold exclusively through Whole Foods.
